Home improvement stores start seasonal hiring

Home Depot is now accepting applications for 180 seasonal, part-time positions at its four Omaha stores.



The home improvement retailer is gearing up for spring, its busiest sales season, and expects to hire 80,000 part-timers nationally. Applicants should apply online at careers.homedepot.com and select 'In-Store Hourly.' Available positions vary by store.



Lowe's has not announced its hiring plans but also has posted open seasonal positions at its Omaha area stores. Lowe's job openings in Omaha and other Nebraska locations can be found at http://ift.tt/1eZFY0M.



Menards suggests stopping by any of its seven Omaha-Council Bluffs area stores to talk with the human resource coordinator.
