A man who had been working with his brother at Woodbridge-based Mid Atlantic Contracting has started his own home improvement company in the Fredericksburg area.
Matt Fletcher on Jan. 1 started Fletcher Construction. He said the home-based company will offer a full array of home-improvement contracting services but will focus on decks and roofing.
Fletcher worked with his brother at fast-growing Mid Atlantic Contracting for six years before deciding to split off on his own. Fletcher served in the U.S. Marine Corps and attended Liberty University in Lynchburg.
