The contractors also win because they save time, money and gas by not having to drive to multiple sites with the hopes of landing a job.

'We wanted to create an environment where everyone wins,' said Nicholas Hansen, co-founder of Project Gopher. 'There was so much waste in terms of time and money for both customers and contractors in the past and that needed to change.'

Project Gopher is unique from other sites in its ability to showcase both before and after photos of projects completed by the contractors. This helps aid in the consumer's decision to select the perfect contractor for them.

Coupled with a review and rating section, Project Gopher allows for better contracting decisions for those looking to tackle home improvement projects.

ProjectGopher.com hopes to revolutionize the home improvement industry by allowing the Consumer to have a larger voice in the home improvement process.

About Project Gopher:

Project Gopher was created to revolutionize and simplify the home improvement process.

While hiring contractors for our own home projects, we became frustrated with the lack of information available and the difficulty involved in hiring contractors.

Sure, there were friends' recommendations and review sites, but then we still had to interview candidates, schedule site visits to get quotes, and thoroughly check out all of our options.

We were surprised and disappointed that there wasn't a better way to hire contractors, so we set out to create a system that would greatly simplify the process by providing everything needed to hire a contractor, in one place.
